The Washington, DC Debut of Klosterbrauerei Andechs! Doppelbock Dunkel & More on Draft!

We are ecstatic to announce that the famed brews of Klosterbrauerei Andechs have finally made it to our region, and this coming Friday, September 13th, ChurchKey will exclusively tap the first kegs ever poured in Washington, DC!

This amazing Benedictine Monastic Brewery has long produced some of the finest, and rarest, German ales and lagers, developing a cult-following of beer hunters who would have to travel to Bavaria to taste their wares. Their Doppelbock Dunkel is typically touted as the most impressive example of the style, and we will be pouring this beauty on draft during the event. Joining the Doppelbock are kegs of Dunkles Weissbier (Dunkelweizen) and Vollbier Hell (Pale Lager), as well as bottles of Weissbier Hefetrüb (Hefeweizen).

Do not miss the opportunity to check out some of the most heralded beers in the world this Friday night, from an authentic Monastic brewery that’s been brewing since 1455!

There is no admission charge for this event and all Andechser drafts and bottles will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. pours.
