Tickets are limited due to space issues, which is actually ironic because the building is NOT small. Thus, it is highly likely tix won’t be available on the day of the event…we don’t know this of course…but consider yourselves forewarned.
*For you newbies… a wolpertinger is a small (or large depending on your perspective), primarily nocturnal mammal that inhabits the alpine forests of Bavaria. He’s quite rare, but we annually work with our hop growers in Hallertau to ‘import’ one of the little fellas for the special occasion. Mostly nocturnal, our“Wolpie” makes his grand appearance at the back end of the festival, which also coincides with our very limited release of his namesake UCBC beer. This year our special release, is an ale aged in red wine barrels from California’s Roth Estate vineyard for several months. So far the result from the first barrel we sampled is a dry, fruity, similar to a Flemish Brown (although less tart), approximately 9.0% ABV Ale. We will be pouring draught samples & plan to release some bottles of Wolpie as well.
We hope to see you there…and remember, as always, “best-dressed Wolpertingers” will be rewarded!
Prost!
PS January 26th is also Florian’s 40th birthday!
