Rare Tasting and Fundraiser with New Holland

Details

KBE and New Holland love a lot of things, but the top two are beer and the communities we call home, which is why tonight is extra special for both of us. Not only will Tim Faith, Eamon McCarthy, and John Boer be coming down to join us in tapping a special keg of Rum Barrel Aged Triple Crown Belgian Brown with Cocoa Nibs, a rare version of our 3rd anniversary collaboration beer, but we’ve also got kegs of Incorrigible, Night Tripper, and Charkoota Rye. Clearly this is all awesome, so Rich Blair can’t bear to miss it and will be coming by later in the evening. This is an incredible amount of good stuff for beer fans, but all of that pales in comparison to the chance we have to make a difference tonight.

RAWK or Read and Write Kalamazoo is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the growth and learning of young Kalamazooans. RAWK was born of the need for school-aged kids to have a place outside of school that fosters their growing needs as writers, and to involve the greater community in their learning and we couldn’t be more impressed with their work so far. They host writing workshops, teach publishing, provide one-on-one tutoring, and offer all kinds of other amazing opportunities to students in the Kalamazoo area. As part of the event we’ll be collecting donations for this wonderful organization and whatever we get from our guests up to $1000 will be matched by KBE and New Holland!
