North Leeds Charity Beer Festival 2014

The Rotary Club of Roundhay and Lord Mayor of Leeds will host the 2014 North Leeds Charity Beer Festival on Friday 30 & Saturday 31 MAY. The Charity Beer Festival will be held at the Community Hall of St Aidan’s Church, Roundhay Road, Leeds LS8 5QD.

FESTIVAL OPENING TIMES: FRI 5pm-11pm; SAT 11am-11pm

The Rotary Club of Roundhay are organising a major fund raising event for local, national and international charities. One of the major benefactors will be The Lord Mayor of Leeds Charity Appeal, ’LOFFTY’ - ’Leeds Offers Fun For The Young’. "LOFFTY" aims to create more opportunities for young people to engage in creative and stimulating projects, to enhance activities that may already be available as well as exploring exciting new ones.

The North Leeds Charity Beer Festival will be an excellent opportunity to sample 28 Yorkshire produced ales. The theme of the 2014 North Leeds Charity Beer festival is the Tour de France in Yorkshire. The Grand Depart Takes place on Saturday 5 July and the festival has 17 specially brewed beers to celebrate this, there will also be 11 exclusive beers brewed in Leeds and served "in the wood". A selection of cider and English country wine will also be available to try.

No event is complete without live music and there will be a number of bands performing throughout the North Leeds Charity Beer Festival. Locally produced food will also be available and served at all times.

The cost of entry is £2 - however if you are a card carrying CAMRA or SPBW member then yo will be able to get in FREE!

A Festival Pack is £5 which includes commemorative glass, programme and TWO beer tokens.
