Pours from the Vault

Our good friend Adam Avery has been far too kind to us over the years,
making sure to send BBCK a generous selection of rarities alongside
the seasonal, occasional, and classic releases we equally adore. But
for this event, coming up next Wednesday, December 17th, we are
getting just plain spoiled.

This event is an early Christmas present for all of our fellow beer
geeks, and will showcase no fewer than 22 crazy rare, occasional and
classic Avery offerings, many of which have been sourced directly from
the personal cellar of Adam Avery himself.

We will be featuring bottle pours of Barrel-Aged releases that were so
limited when packaged that they have never, until now, even made it to
DC: Momi Hiwa (2013; only 283 cases produced) ROSS’S’S’ Melange (2013;
only 147 cases produced), Thensaurum (2013; only 276 cases produced)
and Black Eye (2014; only 424 cases produced). Additionally, we are
stocking some vintage brews on draft and from bottle as well,
including Samael’s Old Ale Vintage 2012, Old Jubilation Vintage 2004,
and The Beast Grand Cru Vintage 2013, plus an array of 2014 Barrel
releases (Tweak, Rumpkin, Pump(KY)n, and the debut of this year’s
Mephistopheles’ Stout on draft. Rounding out the collection will be
host of Dictator Series brews and old favorites, like India Pale Ale
(which we have been pouring consistently on draft since 2009!)

There is no admission fee for this event and all Avery draft and
bottle pours will be priced individually by the glass and in taster
pours.
