History & Hops featuring District ChopHouse & Brewery
Details
The Heurich House Museum’s monthly series History & Hops returns on Thursday, March 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm with District ChopHouse and Brewery. The brewers will be on site to serve their Cherry Blossom Fest and two other brews.
In May 1997, the District ChopHouse and Brewery was one of the first restaurants in DC’s Penn Quarter/Chinatown neighborhood to open its doors to the public. Led by esteemed brewmaster Barrett Lauer, they have been meticulously handcrafting beers for true beer lovers on site ever since. As a popular gathering place, District ChopHouse and Brewery serves American steakhouse classics, housed in a unique turn of the century bank. To ensure quality, most of their beer is available only on site; offsite tastings like this are rare.
Tours of the historic home of Washington D.C.’s most successful brewer, Christian Heurich, are included. For additional information and to purchase tickets, please visit www.heurichhouse.org/events. Guests must be 21 or older.
Cost: $30
