Rustico Ballston’s Holiday Tap Takeover + Wolf Trap Animal Rescue Donation Drive Event!

On Thursday, December 10th, Rustico Ballston will turn the draft lines over to no fewer than 16 seasonal ales for our second annual Holiday Tap Takeover!

This year we’ll be featuring a slew of international gems, classic American holiday ales and outstanding local offerings that our Beer Director Greg Engert has gathered. From the NoVA favorite Hardywood Gingerbread Stout to the hardy Belgian saison, Blaugies La Moneuse Spéciale Noël, there is a brew for everyone on the list! Rounding out the night’s festivities, our Chef de Cuisine Alissa Jeffery and her team will have an array of special dishes to pair with these drafts, including Swedish Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes & Mushroom Gravy, Holiday Sugar Cookies, egg nog, mulled wine and more.

And in the spirit of giving this holiday season, this event will also serve as a donation drive for our friends at Wolf Trap Animal Rescue. Based in McLean, Wolf Trap serves as a satellite foster program for the Corinth-Alcorn Animal Shelter in Corinth, Mississippi, and helps prevent the euthanasia of adoptable animals. Once rescued, Wolf Trap helps find both temporary foster and forever homes for these animals in the DMV area. We invite our guests to bring an unwrapped & new item from Wolf Trap’s wish list below or make a cash donation and receive a free 4 oz. taster of a holiday beer on draft (priced at $3 or less).

There is no admission fee for this event. All holiday drafts will be available all night long, and priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.
