On Thursday, March 26th, in the Pub Room, we will be tapping two of Duvel Moortgat’s fine offerings. "Maredsous Blonde", (6% abv)a delectable blond ale with sprightly fruitiness, soft malting, and a slightly dry, gently hopped finish. A sparkling nose, complex flavors, and a touch of bitterness give this fine ale all of the refreshing qualities of a classic Belgian blond.- And "Maredsous Brune",(8% abv) a rich, mahogany brown Belgian dubbel ale, with a delicate body, creamy head, and lush bouquet. Within it’s velvety taste you’ll discover hints of chocolate, dark fruit, and toffee with a warming finish. A truly exceptional Belgian brown ale.- Our event will be hosted by a representative from the brewery who will be able to answer any questions you may have about these fine brews and the history behind them.- Also, as an added treat, you’ll have a chance to take home a lovely Belgian stemmed glass adorned with the Maredsous logo by buying a Maredsous draft.(While supplies last, limit one glass per guest.)
