Flying Saucer Draught Emporium will present a beer tasting featuring Vermont-based Magic Hat Brewing Company on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.

The event will be hosted by Magic Hat representative Lauren Sarver and will pair five of Magic Hat’s beers with five courses. Featured beer and food pairings include the Circus Boy Hefeweizen served with zucchini carpaccio and shrimp; Roxy Rolles Amber Ale with Italian summer bean soup; #9 Not Quite Pale Ale with basil and tomato pasta salad; Odd Notions Summer Belgian Blonde with seasoned pork chop, polenta and roasted root vegetables; and Odd Notions Fall Chocolate Belgian Stout with layered hazelnut mascarpone cream cake and fresh berries.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at Flying Saucer and are $30 for U.F.O. Club members and $35 for non-members. Reservations are required as tickets are limited.
