It’s official, this years Sour Fest we will be releasing the first ever Churchill’s Finest Sour! Brewed and barrel aged by our good friends at Lost Abbey. This is a brand new beer that has never been released, and after almost 2 years souring up in Chardonnay Wine barrels it was then married with some fresh Guavas! In addition to this awesome beer we will be tapping 50+ very special Sour Ales from some of the top Sour beer making breweries including some rare goodies on draft from Cascade and a special bottle list which we will be pouring 4oz. tasters of. Each year we dedicate this awesome sour event in remembrance to our late friend Peter Reeves who past away suddenly after being diagnosed with a late stage colon cancer. He was a true advocate for Sour beer and a friend to many in the craft beer community so no better way to honor his memory and everyone else that has lost a battle to cancer than with an awesome Sour Fest. We will donating a portion of the days profits to the Cancer Research Foundation. There will be no fee or tickets required for this event but we will be accepting donations from anyone who would like to donate to our annual fund that we donate to the Cancer Research Foundation on behalf of Peter. All beers will be individually priced and served in either 10oz. or 4oz. tasters. If you are a Sour beer lover or want to explore tons of sour beer styles then you will not want to miss this event.
