4 packs vs. Bombers

I used to like bombers because it was cheaper to buy than a four pack to try a new beer. After a while, I made the mistake of cracking a bomber of IIPA when I wanted "one more beer" too many times and now I am getting to hate them. I feel like I am always sitting on a bomber or two waiting for someone to split it w/.

For barleywine, IIPA, imperial stout, etc. I’d actually like brewers to go one step farther and bottle in 7 oz pony bottles. That is a reasonable serving of most of these beers. I’d pay more per ounce for this format for sure.

I had the same problem. I somehow ended up with maybe 20 or so bombers buying them because it was something cool, not drinking them because my wife doesn’t tend to like the more full bodied beers. It was definitely a wake up call.

I like the thought of smaller bottles like 7oz. Especially for beers that are up there like 13+abv.

Doesn’t Rogue have a few single beers that are like 8oz, not that they are the best example though.

You guys are on crack. 2 bombers of high ABV is perfect for one person on a weeknight.

I guess I do see your point, though. A 4 pack of Molotov cocktail is a perfect serving for one person on a weeknight.
