American craft beers at the Berlin beer fest:

I expect they will be bottles.
Any recommendations from this lot?
Note that I don’t like hoppy IPAs...so I usually don’t have much interest in US brews.

That is one unexpected shipload of sheer quality...Their "Craft Beer Pavillon" looks like it will be an oasis of bold flavours compared to their otherwise geographically and macrobrew-challenged programme.

Good luck steering clear of hoppy beer in that oasis! Everything outside of it shouldn’t be too hoppy...

If they haven’t got draught beer, I’ll probably give it a miss anyway. Go to the Czech section.
I’m not much of a hophead.

Looks like Founders is included. Probably a rare EU occasion to catch any of their stouts or even the elusive KBS...

I’d say they’re well worth checking out for everything other than hoppy IPAs. May have to visit this one of these years.

As far as I can see the answer is already in the text:

Vollbeladen mit Bierpaletten hat am 3. Juli der Frachter "Paris Express" den Hafen
in New Jersey verlassen.
An Bord nur erste Klasse: fast 100 Biersorten, vom klassischen Pale Ale über Neukreationen wie Black IPA bis hin zu edlen, im Bourbon-Fass ausgebauten Stout-Raritäten.

So they should have at least have some Bourbon aged stouts, according to this text.

Damn, wish I could go actually. Does seem like a good opportunity to have some nice American brews.

Firestone Walker is typically worth a visit regardless of your personal taste.
