New beer @ Imperial Oak to kick off the weekend is a German Hefe.

They’ll have infused versions (all confirmed these are done before/at kegging and dispensed as treatments allowing them database entry) of Cherry and Coconut tomorrow and they are open all holiday weekend (Today)

Also know Penrose is open today regular hours, Solemn Oath is shortened hours.

Not sure what other venues are open for the holiday today.

Many places with growlers to go are open until the afternoon.

6.99 for a 6 pack is the ideal price point for non imperials 9.99 4 pk for imperials.

That might be ideal, but I hardly ever see that. I think Sam Adam’s is around 6.99. I see Deschutes/Sierra Nevada/Goose Island for around 7.99. I’d say 9.99 is the norm for a six pack.

9.99 in Chicago. And thats the low end.

It’d be nice to see some Goose/Rev/Lagunitas price competition get some mid range solid 6ers into the 7.99-8.99 area on the reg.

Lagunitas I’ve heard is going to lower their price by a dollar soon.

Added Moody Tongue and Smylie Bros today to the database.

Moody Tongue beers can be found in the wild on BeerMenus, Smylie Bros is open in Evanston now.

I always thought the 16 oz. MKE cans were in 4 packs . . .

Also, I had MKE beer once. It was an upsetting experience.

They have single 16 oz cans on the discount shelf form time to time. The Oggi and Hop Freak are both great beers. You could get 12 pks of them for 12$ at times. That’s how it is done.
