I’m no Uli and this may be sacrilegious to some, but I want to blend a couple ounces of white wine into a bottle of Anna to reproduce Ann.

Was thinking a mild New Zealand Sauv Blanc or a French Chardonnay.

Thoughts?

Why not message Shaun and ask him what type of wine barrel he’s used? He’s grassrootsvt on ratebeer.

So it’s wine aged in French oak barrels. Thanks for that. You’ve narrowed it right down. We should have no problem finding it from here.

Ok, French Sauv Blanc and a dash of Boon oude geuze should do it

Yeah.
But the key words there are "barrel" and "resident microflora".
Not sure dumping an ounce of some box wine into anna is going to magically turn it into Ann.
But what do I know.

I second the box wine suggestion.

Well obviously, but I would use a decent wine and save a lot of money and time trading for an Ann.

I would think that the oak character does much more than just the wine
