I’ve got a bottle that I’d like to add to the database, but I don’t want to run afoul of the rules, so I figured I’d ask here first. A local liquor store received a limited run of the Jack’s Abby / Lawson’s Finest Liquids Smoked Maple Lager that was barrel aged. The only difference on the bottle is the words "Barrel Aged". Otherwise, it even has the same barcode numbers as the regular (not barrel aged) variant. I feel like this beer should be rated separately, but I’m not sure if it would be okay to add. What do the veterans here think?

Post a picture if you can. Based on what you’re saying, it sounds like a new entry.

same sku’s happen often, especially when a company doesn’t want to make the few hundred dollar purchase of a new sku and greatly annoy a business.
