Wasn’t that the point why people in the RBESG thread wanted to have another one? :P The thing with Bamberg is, most people who would want to join probably know the place already. Not that I have a problem with enjoying Schlenkerla and Spezi U for a whole day with other ratebeerians who have ticked it already.

Especially since the US Winter Gathering has been somewhat cannibalised by the RateBeer Best event, it would be nice to have something in Europe (may even compel some North Americans over here!). I’d love to do Bamberg again. Will just depend on timing and such.

Message herrklemann beers 1279 º places 56 º 10:13 Sun 8/13/2017 Hahaha - I was thinking about proposing this yesterday as well, but I didn’t have a location in mind. Bamberg sounds like a good idea, but if we were to visit Schlenkerla, I’d almost have to go by car - and stock up for the year to come… :P Alternatively, I heard winters in Portugal are alright - and Lisbon and surroundings had a booming craft scene when we visited last year. Since it’s out of holiday season, it might also not be too crowded.
