Drinking your own brew will never make you drunk

This. I three times fermented my cider. Drank two bottles. I went to bed on all fours.

My 2013 Barleywine disagrees with you. as does everything i’ve brewed except my mild.

I had one of my worst reactions thanks to homebrew.

But then again I do make a lot of mead.

Shoot, I got drunk off the gravity sample of my scotch ale yesterday. (I made that up, but it is 9.5% and rising).

I have definitely gotten pretty drunk (and unintentionally drunk) off of what’s leftover in the bottling bucket w/ some of my meads.
