After years of homebrewing and beer snobbery, I FINALLY got around to joining BeerAdvocate yesterday and my experience was... less than flattering, so people in my Beer Circle on G+ directed me here; told me you guys are a much better crowd. Ironically, I was going to leave BeerAdvocate, but I got banned anyway for "spamming" because I posted a link to a review I did for a beer app. Please tell me that if I post something here that is, in fact, beer related, I won’t get banned. I thought that’s what the beer community was about. LOL Anyway, there’s a lot of geek to me and beer is just one facet. I know quite a bit about homebrewing, but don’t know as much as I would like so I might pick your brains from time to time. Later today, I might get around to posting my "bio" on my profile. Anyway, hope to indulge myself in the community here and looking for some intelligent and civil conversation. 73s
