Message jmikolich P beers 1486 º places 112 º 08:19 Sun 3/30/2014 Two more weeks of me being in MSP it’s been since 2012 holidays since I spent any time in your fine state, so im wondering what’s changed or new or hip. Is Indeeds taproom still open only Thursday to Sat? Any new notable places to hit some good beer and food? My usual routine is TH, happy gnome, busters on 28th but I’d be open to new suggestions though it is a requisite that whatever place I go serve food unless it’s astoundingly awesome or super new Cheers MN’ers

Republic across the street from Town Hall is good - $2 off beers and food specials 4-6 every day. I have heard good things about Northbound. They cure their own bacon and brew their own beer.
Message Atom beers 3305 º places 229 º 09:51 Sun 3/30/2014 Northbound is my go to spot these days. Town Hall is scheduled to reopen 4/11 if it doesn’t get pushed back. Day Block just opened is down the street from Town Hall and now we have Town Hall Lanes if you want a brew and bowl. I’d skip Sociable, they’re pretty terrible imo. Indeed is open the same days.

Message JK beers 7296 º places 442 º 11:59 Sun 3/30/2014 Lots of mediocre beer popping up in the cities these days. Sociable cider is good, not so much the beer. Day Block pizza is good, but the beer needs work. Northbound food is decent but the beer is nothing special. Then 612, Boom Island. Have you done Moto-I? I love that place.

Surlys taproom is nice, rarely busy and has lots of draft only Surly. Typically 10 beers on tap there. Blakkr, misanthrope, cacao bender are all currently on.
