Two more weeks of me being in MSP it’s been since 2012 holidays since I spent any time in your fine state, so im wondering what’s changed or new or hip. |
Have you been to Dangerous Man? I would make that a priority. There is also a new cidery in NE Mpls, Sociable. I don’t think Town Hall has reopened yet. |
Town Hall grand opening is Friday 4/11 I think? |
Northbound is my go to spot these days. Town Hall is scheduled to reopen 4/11 if it doesn’t get pushed back. Day Block just opened is down the street from Town Hall and now we have Town Hall Lanes if you want a brew and bowl. I’d skip Sociable, they’re pretty terrible imo. Indeed is open the same days. |
Busters is still closed after a fire last June. I’d say +1 on both republic and dangerous man. Northbound is a great spot with awesome food and solid beers. |
Damnit. I never responded to you. Lets grab some beers while you’re here. |
Wow lots has changed since my last visit. |
Lots of mediocre beer popping up in the cities these days. Sociable cider is good, not so much the beer. Day Block pizza is good, but the beer needs work. Northbound food is decent but the beer is nothing special. Then 612, Boom Island. |
No food at Dangerous Man unless there is a food truck (same with Indeed) |
Originally posted by JK I second that, I think it’s still the only place outside of Japan to brew their own Sake. |
Dangerous Man is very near Anchor Fish & Chips, you can call in an order for takeout and eat at DM. Surlys taproom is nice, rarely busy and has lots of draft only Surly. Typically 10 beers on tap there. Blakkr, misanthrope, cacao bender are all currently on. |
