Which of these fine beverages do you prefer? As an American, I prefer malt liquor after a hard day inventing session IPA. White Cider has a certain allure but ultimately I prefer the green apple candy off notes from a fine malt liquor to the more meaty yeast notes in white cider.

Pictured above is a cocktail I have perfected. 70% malt liquor, 30% white cider. I call it a Transcontinental.

A+ thread. Looking forward to some more people sharing opinions on this divisive subject.

Not many are expert tasters of both styles.

My game is weak on both fronts, so I have no opinion.

Many moons ago. 12 hour night shifts. Gallons of Diamond White. Happy days, really...

Both would be just fine in my world.

I can see why the stuff is so popular. Pretty easy to drink and gets you waxed pretty well and good. Best one I have had is Frosty Jack’s as it had the least weird yeast character thus far--tho that may have been MacBoost’s adept skill at hand bottling.

Maybe somebody can dig this dude out of retirement to get his take on the topic at hand? http://www.ratebeer.com/View-User-20772.htm
