Message Beersiveknown P beers 5380 º places 180 º 15:53 Sat 11/29/2014 I’d never have thought when I moved out here 5years ago that there’d ever be enough drinks produced here to even hit 50 rates but there’s been an explosion of both brewers and cidermakers, particularly in the last 12 months. We’re now at around 15 with more in the pipeline. Some of the recent efforts have been rubbing shoulders with the better mainland efforts and there’s now a handful I’d happily recommend. The beer scene in Belfast is really starting to pick up too; so would recommend anyone heading to the emerald isle to at least spend a day there. As for the 100th? Allegedly a 12% imperial stout from New brewers hillstown - horny bull.Decent drop but not as expected for claimed strength. I’m now on 101, norn iron’s first wet hop IPA via Farmageddon. Slainté!
