New Bar in The Woodlands serving craft beer

I know it’s often hard to find places to drink good beer out in the suburbs, so I thought I’d pass along some info about a place I ran across the other night. It’s called The Refuge Bar & Bistro at 24 Waterway Avenue. It appears it opened about a month ago. They have 12 taps, all Texas locals. They advertise as more of a classic cocktail bar and actually a few of the cocktails featured beer. I had a very enjoyable Montenegro & IPA cocktail. The food is really good too. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the white cheddar pablano pale ale soup.

Anyway, just thought I’d pass this info on for anyone living or visiting that area that was not already aware of The Refuge. I’ve added it as a new place.
