Westbrook Goses cousin Westbrook Lichenheimer is on tap at stags head I’ll probably get some tonight. I feel like I saw gose at my local whole foods semi recently |
I have to get up to Stags Head for that. Long time want. |
On a different note, at Whole Foods Tribeca, there’s a shitload of the new Ommegang Game of Thrones beer (I hear some guys can’t find it.) Also, Mescal Barrel aged Bronx Black Pale Ale, although at $14 for the bomber I really didn’t want to break down and buy it. There are a lot of Gose beers there, including the new Sixpoint Jammer in cans. And they have Founders Blushing Monk reduced to $13.99. |
Speaking of Blushing Monk, do you guys remember when this used to disappear rom the shelves? This was sort of a whale. Now I see it all over the place. Whole Foods is even offering it at a reduced price. And no one seems to be asking for it in the trade forums. |
Fyi Tom it’s the Brett Lichenheimer |
The Brett lichtenheimer is even more rare tan the regular licetenheimer. |
If you want your first taste of LIC Beer Project there is a couple on at Alewife today as well as other Queens goodies. This brings our NYC brewery count to 22 |
I was in Alewife early last evening and tried their two offerings. Ardent Core was quite passable but the Silent Vixen was not that inspiring. Originally posted by Jow |
Hill Farmstead Dorothy is on at Threes Brewing in Brooklyn. That was a nice little find this evening... |
The new Dorothy is fucking killer. I think the 2015 batch has Brett. |
