if you choose to read, bear with my example ;in japan, where i live, there are no no-smoking laws for bars, restaurants, clubs, etc.I am allergic to cigarette smoke,so i need to search for places that I can go.There are no-smoking places in japan, there are places with outdoor seating in Japan, there are places that have no-smoking during lunch time in Japan, and there are places that have doors and windows always open. |
Pivovar Strahov, Pivovarsky Klub, Pivovarsky Dum, Nota Bene and other places have non smoking areas! |
Non-smoking areas is not enough, but i will keep ^ your info as a one pint last resort. |
As far as I know Zly Casy and Kulovy Blesk are completely smoke free. |
Originally posted by Quack-Duck Kulovy Blesk definitely. I believe U tri ruzi is as well |
Avoid Prague Beer Museum like the plague in that case. Good selection but completely smokey. |

Zly Casy was not smoke free when I went 5 months ago. Beer Geek (the bar) definitely is smoke free |
Which city are you talking about? Almost all craft-beer related pubs in Brno are completely non-smoking. |
Isn’t there an EU law that all pubs/bars/restaurants have to be smoking free? Pubs do have smoking rooms/boxes/areas. In Estonia and Latvia it’s kind of strict and most of the places are smoke free. Last summer in Poland and Lithuania I noticed that rules are followed more "do we have to?" way. For example one room was for non-smokers and the other one for smokers. But there was no closable door between them. Couple years ago Czech (Olomouc) was kind of same like .pl and .lt. |
Originally posted by BenH Yup, they claim that the downstairs bar is smoke free, meaning you can’t light up at your table, but just down the hallway is the smoker friendly second level and it wafts in and stinks up the place. |
