Thread Frozen

Message Indra P beers 2711 º places 78 º 10:30 Fri 4/8/2011 I’ll just keep creating new versions of these threads as the old ones get frozen automatically. Free State has C4 Imperial Black IPA on right now. Also, the Hop Jack that is on was brewed with Falconer’s Flight, which I thought was really interesting since it’s such a new hop, tasty beer, too.

Message beastiefan2k P beers 5028 º places 294 º 12:25 Sat 4/9/2011 I am happy to day that I was highly surprised to see Bockor Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge on tap at Angler’s in Lawrence. I am sad to say that I got only one class before it kicked. But it was damn good. If Lawrence got a keg I bet there is one somewhere in KC as well. They also have La Trappe Quad and Odell Myrcenary on tap

I think I had that as well, but the chalkboard in the restaurant part just said Brouwerij (Which just means Brewery I think) Flemish Red. The waitress tried to warn me off of it. "It’s sour!"

I had the sour warning too on Cuvee Renee at Waldo yesterday. Apparently some folks had complained about the beer. Funny stuff.

We had some and it’s fantastic – solid german amber lager, partially filtered, and incredibly fresh. I’d recommend going out & getting some of it if you can.

Ah yeah, I saw this beer talked about on the LJ World site, pondered how to enter it into the database exactly, and wasn’t able to figure it out within about 60 seconds or so and just gave up. Obviously that’s not right, so I’ll figure out how to get it listed. I guess that’s neither here nor there as far as how good the beer is, I’m just mentioning it in case anyone wonders why it’s not in the db yet.
