PLACES / MAP

Now that AB-Inbev are involved with the site, is it possible to iron out the problem with places not appearing in the correct spot in the map due to various non-recognisable accents on letters? I've just added the following two places, the first of which appears under the listing for the town but not in the correct place in the map. The second does not appear in the town listing or map, instead appearing in the Bermuda triangle of places with dashs, hats or dots above letters in the name or address.

I would try amending the problem letters to correct the problem but it seems only admin can

That most likely isn't a top priority fix, with all the stuff they are doing all over the place. That was IIRC at least partly a problem with Google Maps from what I recall, so it's even out of ABI's reach. :o Though it wouldn't surprise me if it were fixable now. Anyway, next time, please refer to the (currently) pinned thread or the adequate local forum thread (where there's one with admins who actively use it) for issues like this.

Fixed the two the typo in the name of the second one.

Ok, thanks for fixing the second. I would've mentioned this in the France regional forum but there's not much activity there and not many French users. Hopefully this won't remain a problem.
