"Please verify your account" email

Message BeerViking beers 9209 º places 134 º 08:51 Fri 9/1/2017 I just got an email purporting to be from JoeT and inviting me to click an embedded link. There is no alternative route offered. The usual security advice is not to click on embedded links as they can go anywhere a fraudster chooses, in this case it appears to be to "ratebeer.auth0.com" which I don't recognise. Joe, are these emails genuine? If they are, please provide an alternative plaintext link to cut & paste. Thanks!

If so then a duplicate account is created. We have a fix going so that if you verify your RateBeer email then the two accounts are merged. This an edge case security issue.

This an edge case security issue. ahh that explains things, i did once click on the FB link, as it appeared unexpectedly and i clicked it thinking it was long in as me, just like previous suggestions
