These aren’t really RateBeer awards, Jens. They spawned from GT and I believe AdamJackson ran with them. Admins shouldn’t be running these as said awards aren’t affiliated with the site in any way and it makes it appear as though they are. Take them with a grain of salt. |

If it is, why don’t you guys just nominate each other? Then if people saw your names on the nominee list, some of them might say, "Yeah, those guys have rated a ton, I’ll vote for them."

Who is not vocal, or is part of a shy community, doesn’t get nominated or voted.

+1 Support each other. These awards are serious business. When I won one a couple of years ago, confetti fell from the sky and Freddie Mercury returned from the dead to sing "We Are The Champions" to me a capella. Definitely the highlight of my life. |
