There can’t be much of the Yamabushi 500 left. Nor the 2008 stout, although I suppose that must be going downhill by now. Would love to go, but probably can’t make it.

I see that we have two Grand Rouges on here. Is the new one in the big bottle different from the one that’s just listed as Shiga Kogen Grand Rouge?

Possibly my bad, had no idea Shiga Kogen had released a Grand Rouge before on draft. When I searched it didn’t come up, if it is the same maybe alternate it?

I think it is the same recipe, though it is bottle conditioned, and of course the fruit varies. I don’t think it is a new beer according to the RB rules. Not sure about the ASS#2 either.

Isn’t it a Saison for the base beer for the new one? I don’t remember the last one being a Saison. Also they said this is made similar to the Apricot Saison.

I think thenlastbase was either Miyama Blonde or Yamabushi.

as far as I know both the Grand Rouge and Apricot have a saison base
