Hell, CharmCityCrab could probably get one over-$10 six-pack a year with that sort of scratch. With that said, I certainly don’t agree that things available to paying members should be available to all members just because one costs money. Santabeer, what is your rationale anyway? You give no explanation as to how that would benefit the site. The paying members (of which I have paid twice just not currently) get perks, one perk being that you have a place to talk about non-beer stuff because let’s face it, talking about beer for the rest of life gets a little stale. Personally I would rename OTL to RBMG or the RateBeer Meme Generator Forum. OTL is the main thing that usually draws me back into paying anyway.

It’s bad enough that one of the OT forums disappeared because of a few premium members who couldn’t handle not clicking on it and started complaining. I could just see all the thin skinned complaining about the controversial topics in OT-M and benign trolling topics in OT-L offending them.
