Smithsonian Folklore Festival

Last year I decide to integrate my budding craft beer hobby with our annual family pilgrimage to the Folklife Festival, and took advantage of the theme being Peru, to tick that country with a refreshing Cuzcena.

Well this year the Festival’s theme is Basque Country. I guess this means cider?

yes, in fact Rachel & Sam Fitz of ANXO are supplying the beverages for it.

My office is a block from the festival, so we usually hit it during lunch on one or more days.

Oh wow if there is cider, I’ll have to see if I can swing it.

I remember drinking Budvar B:Dark Tmavý Ležák when it was super hot and humid at the festival a few years ago.

I think I’m going to try going on the 9th or 10th if we don’t do a tasting that weekend.

Tried the Gaztanega Sidra. Enjoyed it.
