Clearly this would be a dumb style and it isn’t innovative. It would be like brewing a pale lager and calling it an imperial reduced alcohol beer. Nothing Kölsch could be retained in anything of this kind. Clearly to the OP’s point. No idea why folks have to mock his point. Innovative? If the goal is marketing, sure; if a true new twist of a style, clearly not.
