Stay in Belgium

Hi Everyone,

My university has an exchange program with K.U. Leuven. I am going for about 6 weeks this summer to write about the influence of global beer trends on Belgian beer culture. Sounds neat, eh? I’ll be staying in Leuven most of the time from 12 Aug-27 Sept, with a bit of travel thrown in. Would love to get together with people for some beers. I will probably bring a few beers / sakes from Japan as well, for a tasting.

Sound indeed quite interesting.
I am fairly certain if you hop down to Antwerp – kraddel will be interested in throwing another tasting together.
Maybe at delirium in Brussels. Count me in – very interested about Japanese stuff & trying some proper sake.

I will also be traveling to London and Copenhagen, probably bringing back beers from there, plus bringing some from Japan, so I would love to do a tasting. Probably sometime in September is best for me, since August I will be moving around a lot. Let’s keep in touch.

I guess I’ll hear about any tastings coming up.

May I also suggest the beer festival in Ghent? 17th of August. Easily accessible with public transport. There’s gonna be a RB crowd present as well (you know who you are, guys ;) ) http://www.gentsbierfestival.be/

I can set a date now, if it’s between, say Sept 3-25. Maybe this can go together with what Kraddel is proposing...
