Apparently a duplicate - but the older brewed at Westerham, and marketed as Westerham 1730 in Taylor Walker pubs (should be listed as an alias under that name), the newer brewed at Greene King. ABV is the same, and probably the recipe - but I haven’t had the one brewed at Greene King, so what do I know?

They’re different.

Apparently, although the beer was badged as Taylor Walker the contracted producer retained the rights to the recipe. When Greene King took over Taylor Walker they, not surprisingly, decided to use their own beers for the house beers and Westerham got the order of the boot. The beers may be similarly specified but they can’t be the same (unless by a very odd coincidence) because Green King doesn’t have access to the recipe.

So any cask 1730 will now be Greene King and the Westerham version can be retired?

Correct, as far as I undertand it.
