Covent Garden? I’m not interested anymore. They’ve gone mainstream.

Good news for me. I’m often round that way.

Someone needs to open a craft beer location east of SE1 and south of the river. SE16. Save for Meantime, there’s shit all. Rotherhithe needs a good pub.

That ’docklands’ area on both sides of the river is a beer desert. You don’t have to travel far to get to all the stuff around Bermondsey though.

In other SE LDN news Late Knights/Beer Rebellion are opening up another bar in a currently empty bookies in Peckham (Queens Road) this summer. The area is screaming out for a decent boozer. There isn’t nearly enough available nightlife for the army of hipsters that have migrated here over the last few years.

I do feel that there would have been a perfect spot in Walsall. Just in between the two Wetherspoons opposite the tramp benches...I mean the seated pedestrianised area. There are plenty of vacant buildings at the moment and it would make a nice change from the usual pay day loan shops, bookies and charity shops. You know I wouldnt even want a finders fee. I know you are tempted Tom, dont deny it, embrace it!

Can anyone from CBC confirm if the karaoke machine is being kept in the new boozer?

That would be all sorts of awesome.

Agreed. But you do have to ’travel’. There’s nothing walkable on the south side, but there is a shit load of canary wharf types with money living there. Seems like an opportunity to me.
