Pretty sure ScottPurchase hit the character limit on the reg.
Yep. I remember he complained, and someone responded along the lines of "aim for short essay rather than novella"
Whenever I’m feeling down I like to remember that somewhere, ScottPurchase is cartwheeling through a meadow.

There is a character limit of 12,000 or so. I think cgarvie hit that limit after adding to his rating of some barleywine every time he had it. edit: here it is http://www.ratebeer.com/forums/anyone-else-hit-the-max-character-limit-for-a-rating_244820.htm
My wife set up an account and rated a few beers(well i more or less forced her) just so i could get the Extra Character space in her Good King Henry Reserve. Copied my Oldest ratings there and now procced to fill up the space i created

You could have just opened a new account yourself no?
When you run out of space the next time is it your kids turn?
