And not as a Czech Pilsner? SN calls it a Czech style lager. Is it considered more German style here? Or is Czech Pilsener only used for beers from the Czech Republic?

There are a lot of American beers that call themselves Czech style, that are nothing like actual Czech/Bohemian Pils. Summerfest is one of them. I’m not sure many people over here really understand the difference between Czech and German Pils... or American Pils for that matter.

How would you compare it to their Nooner Pilsener?

Nooner is hoppier. Probably a bit crisper as well.

I’d actually be ok with Summerfest being called a Premium Lager or even Pale Lager.

I would say most US pilsners don’t really fit the classic Czech or German molds, even if they claim to, that’s why a broader "pilsner" style is a good call. Summerfest fits that well.
