So I’m going to New York City for 3 nights in November for a boys reunion. They are non-beery types, but craft beer aware. If I was going to take them to one brewery tap room in city or Brooklyn area what should it be?

Any bar recommendations also very welcome.

Cheers
Ed

The only real breweries worth going to will be in Brooklyn. The top three in my eyes are Other Half, Threes and Dirck the Norseman. I don’t think Grimm has a tasting room - but someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Other bars in the city are:
Ginger Man
Pony Bar
Proletariat
The Jeffery
Broadway Dive 101
One Mile House
Blind Tiger

Check out the NYC places section for locations as these are all spread out somewhat and it really depends on what neighborhood you end up in.

Threes and Dirck are definitely places you can take some non-craft beer fanatics.

Grimm does not yet have a brewery/tasting room hopefully in 2016. If you want to brave queens LIC Beer Project was really fun as well.

Add me to the list of people recommending Threes and Dirck.

Jredmond took me to dirck. Was a big sleeper as i knew nothing about it.

Threes was my first thought as well since they have lots of cocktails, barrel aged cocktails and draft wine to go along with the house and guest beers.

Dirck is my recommendation for non-beery types. It’s a brewpub. No sample sizes though. Other Half is my recommendation for beery types. Haven’t been to Threes yet.
