Hi

I am trying to get some opinions on a Turkish beer for a student paper. If any of you could fill in the very short questionnaire attached here I would really really appreciate it...

thank you

I was surprised by the prevelance of a drinking culture but the complete lack of variety or selection in Turkey.

I’ll be in Istanbul and Adana in late October/early November if anyone would like to hunt for beers with me. Planning to swing through Moldova on the way back too....

Balans Brau appears to be closed. Just stop into random groceries, otherwise you are in for a long trip to the Asian side. Good luck.

I’ll be in Istanbul later this month. Looking forward to coffee, kaymak, baklava, a trip to Ciya...not looking forward to Efes Dark as the best beer available. Turkey is a wasteland, and the government is the problem.

As for Moldova, contact Boystout. He knows where to find the small country brewery beers. Without his help, I think we would have only found Chisinau brewery product.
