One of the RB legends I wish I could have met in person. He gave me so much great advice when I started in ’06. I will definitely drink a few in memory. Cheers Walt!...Shawn

Here is what I posted in a private group I am a member.

" Today marks the 2nd year of the passing of a great beer ambassador and just all around jolly dude Walter Powell. Always seemed to be for the party, sharing of great and sometimes impossible to find brews. Just when things were really moving up for him including the opening of the movie theater that served good beer (Flix Brewhouse) he was taken away far too early. His favorite brew was Orval but sadly I have none to toast with so I hope the Westbrook Gose will meet with approval, RIP our cheery imp."
