Enjoying my time back in SoCal. Curious to know what you guys routinely pick up. I love grabbing a bomber of Union Jack for $4 at Trader Joe’s. What other regulars or shelfie seasonals do you guys like? |
Whatever is the freshest: Lagunitas IPA / Sucks, Pizza Port Swamis / Ponto, Union Jack, or Celebration. If Enjoy By, Summer Yulesmith, or Humulus Lager were available in six packs of go for those. For non-hoppy: Vitus or Cuvee Rene. |
Anderson Valley Gose |
Fresh from brewery Pizza Port Ponto $10 x6 16oz cans |
Pretty much what everyone else has said. Ponto and Swamis if fresh from the brewery. Modern Times Fortunate Islands is great but a little over priced at $12/4 pack of 16oz cans. I heard that they finally started putting dates on the bottom of the cans which will help out up here in SLO. The last few cans of that I’ve had were very old but there was no date to know. Scrolling past until those show up here or I just buy it in OC. |
A lot of what has been mentioned plus Cali Creamin from Mother Earth. |
Besides the lovely Pizza Port cans mentioned, I like some light hoppinesss. Avery Joe’s, Firestone Pivo, Sam Adams Noble Pils, Ska Mexican Logger, Epic Hop Syndrome. |
Grabbed 6-packs of Anderson Valley Gose, BP Sculpin and PP Swami’s - all excellent. Swami’s is 4 weeks old, but still quite tasty. Hoping to have it fresh from the brewery sometime in the next few months! |
I finally figured out how to read the bottled on date for Ballast Point. Where do I look for Pivo Pils six packs? I want to buy them, but not if stale. |
Originally posted by GT2 Even here on the Central Coast I can’t seem to find fresh Pivo Pils outside of the brewery store. And there it is hard to pay the $12-14(can’t remember exactly) price. |
Lagunitas Daytime all the time. |
