72 Stopped in on a Friday afternoon, between lunch and dinner, so not a big crowd. Plenty of tables indoor and a covered outdoor seating area also. Server provided us with samples to try, which allowed us to try most of their tapped beers. We also had a snack, food was good. They had several barrel aged bottles for sale, didn’t pick any up, wanted to stop by next door for a deeper selection. Worth a stop if in the area. |
70 A different vibe, and overlapping but different tap lists, from the sister location: 5 Seasons Prado. Both locations feature a moderately up-scale venue. A draw for this location is the very close proximity to Hop City. Beers at both locations are mostly in the very good to excellent range, but Westside has more offerings and more variety. |
80 In a nice little group of shops, this is kind of the centerpiece that has been there a while. Decent restaurant/bar vibe, didn’t go upstairs but I didn’t really see any brewing equipment. Service was solid, attentive and knowledgeable enough about the beer and food. Selection was ok, 8 of their beers, a few bottled cellar options, nothing was great though. Food was solid, farm to table vibe, if not a little played out, at least well done. Really nice date spot or calm dinner place, I’ll have to go back and check out the upstairs. |
88 Was in the neighborhood for Hop City, and my friends and I decided to pop in here for dinner. Great decision! Love the space, and the service was immediately winning. We tried and enjoyed offerings ranging from a terrific IPA to a wine-barrel quad, and were impressed by all. But aside from the top notch beers, this is one of those rare places that pays just as much attention to the food as to the craft brew. We were knocked out by the total package. Don’t miss out. |
80 First stop in Atlanta after leaving the airport. We came in for lunch and a couple samplers. Definitely a bit outside of the city center and not too far from Georgia Tech, though I quickly realized that Atlanta is kind of spread out, so being outside the city center isn’t really a big deal.
Seems like there is quite a lot in terms of beer and restaurants on this area. The brewpub itself has a nice big location. Parking seemed like a potential issue, but at 11:30 on a Wednesday, we were able to find a street space. Plenty of seating inside and a large bar, where we sat. Ordered a flight of all the available house beers (11 on this occasion) and a couple appetizers. The beer quality was all over the place with nothing really standing out and a few real duds. The food was quite nice, though. Great service and pretty good pricing on the beers. They also have an extensive selection of barrel aged beers in the bottle, but all being 750ml and $25, we decided to skip them. Food was pretty reasonably priced and as mentioned, tasty. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town. |
84 A pleasant atmosphere to enjoy the tasty beers and very good food. Add in the excellent service I received, and this place is a winner. |
80 Good relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Beer range and prices very reasonable. Good bottle conditioned and draft choices. Dark Star Stout very drinkable. Cask Mosaic IPA extremely thick and cloudy - surely could be settled better and dont disturb the cask ! Scottish IPA Cask was on the turn. |
96 Great place! I would recommend going beyond tap selection (which is great by the way) straight to bottle-conditioned masterpieces. Last time I was here, Belgian-style Porter was absolutely top choice. By the way, food won’t disappoint you either - real good. All in all - one of the best places on my personal list. |
70 Stopped in here after a trip to Hop City while in town. Pretty empty place when I was there, but a nice set-up and I’m told they brew the beer in house downstairs. A decent selection of taps, a couple house Belgian brews on cask, and a large selection of barrel aged beers in bottles for on-premises consumption only. Bartender was friendly and helpful when I asked about the beers. Seems like it’s worth a stop in if you’re in the area. Did not eat so nothing to say about the food here. |
80 Pretty restaurant in a trendy neighbourhood. Good geeky service, food was ambitious and decent. Beer list was all over the place, but fun and pretty good. Nice place. |
