Situated in NE Portland. Fairly quiet during my Saturday afternoon visit. Beer ok,good service

Hey this is a swanky joint. Great beer and food. Had a hell of a time finding it. But then I didn’t have my phone to help me.

Pretty blond wood booths, nice bar. Decent beer selection and decent happy hour. The ambiance of the neighborhood raises food expectations just a little--.foods good just nothing special.

Visited while roadtripping through Oregon and Washington. Nice atmosphere, big open room. The food menu looked really good, but we were only drinking. I would say that the beers were mainly pretty average. I would recommend hitting Alameda if you are doing brewery tours east of the river.

Alameda was a bit further out in northeast portland. It’s pretty big with a more rustic feel to it I went with mostly their IPAs at the time and they were pretty good. They had a solid selection of their own brews. The food was solid. It was pretty standard pub fare, but pretty decent. Nothing to jump through hoops to get, but I’d certainly have no problem eating here in the future Alameda was pretty solid overall. Not great, but certainly far from bad. The bartenders were nice and friendly

Nice airy, open brewpub. Alameda has a small sidewalk outdoor seating area which is pleasant however Freemont St. can get quite busy so the sound can be loud. The beer was good although I only tried the El Toreoro Organic IPA. It was a well crafted NW IPA. The $3/pint happy hour was a fair deal. I didn’t really look at the menu so i can’t comment there but the selection and the service were about average for a brew pub.

Had a good pint here but the food I got was pretty bleh. Located in a very cool part of town, if you are in the area definitely stop by.

Some OK beers but I wasn’t too impressed. I did think that the atmosphere was pretty cool. I would include it on a Portland beer tour in you’re hitting breweries east across the river from downtown.

Located in a quaint neighborhood within walking distance to Beaumont Market. Atmosphere is strange but fine, can see all the brewing supplies equipment behind the bar. Had a few of their beers and was surprised at how good the Hefe was at the time. Just got the taquitos but they were swell, good dipping sauce. Worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood. No complaints but not a must-stop.

First place we went to in Portland. We were there for a late lunch (1pm) and it was fairly dead. Nothing good or bad about the setting. We chose a spot near the street. Service was fine. Nice selection of very drinkable beers. Prices seemed in line. The only thing I would say is that it just does not leave an impression. The beers and food and service were fine, but I just didn’t feel much about the place. Perhaps that is a function of the lunch situation....I have no reason to rate this lower than an 80, I’m just saying that something seemed to be missing.
