In the center of Oberursel. Easy bike or public transport ride from Frankfurt. About 20min. Nice setting in a courtyard. Different rooms, big beergarde. 4 beers on tap. Will be back

Very good place to eat and drink. Traditional German food, very good, accompanied by their own very decent brews, which change with the season so you get to try a few over time. Their Christmas feast is sublime.

Ate outside in the very nice Biergarten on a warm late summer day. Nice selection of tasty traditional German food at reasonable prices. The beer selection at the time of our visit was limited to a pilsener and a dark lager, neither of which was particularly exceptional. Okay, but better for dining than drinking.

I really like this place although it’s more about food despite it’s a name. The brunch is amazing - have never seen so much food. Beer is decent enough - I suppose it’s a German thing to not have much choice. Have eaten in the garden, in the cellar and in function rooms - all have a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the smoked beer despite my German friends warning me off it.

Good traditional brewpub with 2 + 1 (seasonal) taps. Total number of seasonals is 16!

Cool place. When I was there, there was only one waitress for about thirty customers, so the service wasn’t good. I was disappointed that they only had two beers on tap: one pilsner and one weizen. The quality of the beer (I tried both) was excellent. The food was okay.

Visitet this place in november 2011. This is what I will call a real “Brauhaus“ with very traditional german food and beer styles. Old style brauhaus with waitress and serve dressed in old fassion close. Two beers on tap one season beers in good condition. Food it as normal in germany big portions of well made brauhaus food. Very buissy at lunch time. Friendly staf.

Set in the old city of Oberursel. A very large place inside seats 700 with all of the rooms used. Also a very large walled beergarden. This is a very old place like I like them, well over 200 years. The serve old fashion German fare. Service was also good. Watch out for the Brew Master’s Daughter.
