66 Short stop. Busy pub with a nice patio. More 'traditional' German beers available, next to some craft. Friendly service, good prices. |
78 In the daytime it was more or less a restaurant with table service. Menu was extensive with lots of German beers, the higher quality ones, plus a few of the elusive craft beers that the country is just starting to make. Food was just all right, tasty and filling. Service can be spotty if it's busy though, only one poor lady for many crowded tables. A good place to look for some traditional German brews you may not find around much. |
76 An arty, old-school beer cafe with good local dishes (potato-bacon soup, bread with lard, etc.) and useful daylight hours (easy to reach from nearby museums, etc.). Not much "craft" beer but the 100 bottles include several Belgian ales like St. Bernardus, Schlenkerla, and a few bock beers, etc. Nice place in a part of town that lacks interesting pubs. |

66 Visited latest April 2016 with my parents. Spacy, L-shaped bar, few seatings outside. Decent selection of beers on tap and bottles. Served in good condition and with a smile from the friendly staff. Easy to find, worth a visit. |
68 Visited in 2012. They had decent selection of bottles, however nothing too interesting. Food was cheap and good. Not a bad choice if you’re nearby. |
60 Fairly sparse decoration, a little lacking in atmosphere. Decent traditional German beer menu with some other international imports, but pretty much usual stuff. Prices seem fairly cheap. Stayed close by so worth popping into but wouldn’t go out of my way as a craft beer destination. |
62 Stocks quite a few bottles. Selection seems quite random tough. Pricey by Berlin standards. |
