Bier-Bier

24/05/19. This was probably my least favourite in Helsinki. Whereas one of my mates wanted to go back the next. It was very busy and we ended up shoved into a corner. I find that unappealing, he disagrees. Beer choices on tap were not overly interesting although there was a decent array in the fridges. The bar staff were all business. Seems to be more of a fashionable bar than just a craft bar?

A really nice pub, as others have already described. High ceilings, dark wood panels, tiled stoves, candle light and comfy seating. For sure a place to enjoy a beer or two. Visited on 3rd May 2019. 3 room venue in city centre. Decor is lovely. Lots of wood panels, comfy seats. It's a really lovely bar. 8 beers on tap. Picked up a couple of new Jopen beers here. Mostly imports. Service and prices are decent. More of a visit for the venue than the beer but worth a look.

OK tap list, great bottle selection. Fine service. Not worth going out of your way for but good member of the Helsinki scene - felt like I was sipping beer in a library.

Centrally located and easy to incorporate into a central Helsinki beer crawl. Small, but decent taplist. Flights of 5 available for €12.50, not too bad for Finland. Extensive bottle selection as well. The interior of the place is beautiful and very elegant feeling. Worth chilling with a beer here due to the atmosphere, but it's not a top spot in terms of selection.

Visited on a Tuesday early evening in August 2017. Located in central Helsinki, close to my hotel, Scandic Marski. A bit dark and woody with three rooms with the bar at the end. The selection was decent, especially the bottle list. The place was not too crowded so the service was good.

Very strange bar. Basically three small but linked rooms in a classical building. The bar’s at the end with a fairly decent selection of taps for a visitor and quite a few bottles, although we didn’t attempt any of those. Strangely there manages to be not that much seating particularly in the central room where there’s just a couple of tables around the edge.

Bit strange-atmosphered beer bar pretty close to the center of Helsinki. It is kinda dark, woody, feels bit like a whiskey/cigarr bar and hotel lobby combined. A set of taps that doesn’t seem to rotate that quick, but theres always really unusual and unexpected things popping up, so like to check by if near, though only about half the times I actually end up buying something after checking the tap list. Nice selection of bottles too though. A flight-set of 1dl’s available, otherwise they have a 2dl min size iirc.

Small narrow bar with very central location. Same owners own the import company, so you can get some beers here which are not available or rare elsewhere. Taps are often less interesting than bottles, the reason I don’t visit here so often when I am alone crawling. A bit "hipsteric"& vintage feeling overall. For ticker, worth of visit if you are nearby.
