The Bull And Bear Inn

(Visited Jan 2020) Nice pub centrally located close to Stureplan. Looks very much like the Swedish cliché of what British pubs look like (and sometimes actually do). House beers from Åbro, but they have a decent list of guest beers, some craft beers, some not so much. Good bottle selection. Good pub food. Service was swift and friendly. Not the best choice in Stockholm, but a good beer retreat in an area mainly inhabited by clubbers and brats. Worth a visit.

Central located in the Stureplan area of Stockholm. Classic pub interiors, look like a Bishops Arms' place, or more like a British one, dark lit with brown benches and old wooden tables. A long bar to the right serving five Fullers beers on cask and about 20 on taps, not that exciting beer menu. However, its a cozy pub well worth a visit.Polite service. English styled pub with a heated patio in front. Carpet on the floor, typical for England or in a English wannabe pub abroad. Hygienic? Hardly.... The barman wore a red vest an a kilt. Classy! Beer selection? Sadly not that interesting. Many from Åbro on tap and some from Edge, Hornbeer and Stone. Also 5 cask ales. I had a Bron IPA from Åbro. The urinal had an extreme smell of urine. Quite big, yet cozy place with a large but not that exciting beer list. You will sometimes find beers from Skebo here - which is a plus.

A cozy faux british pub. The tap selection is nice, and there’s some good stuff on bottle. Lately, I’ve seen a lot of Oscar Blues, Stone and Flying Dog here. Food is nice but a bit pricey for what you get. Staff is generally friendly.

Visited early Saturday evening. Only about 10 people were here and a good 6 of them (in three seperate pairs) were properly, struggling to stand up, pissed. One guy started trying to chat up every woman that passed by! So not a great ambience here. The tap selection was pretty dull. the bottles a bit better. The guy behind the bar was friendly enough and seemed knowledgeable about the one beer I had here. Overall I just don’t get the high marks for this joint. We returned a couple of days later but although nobody was falling over drunk - there was the same subdued atmosphere and the same dull tap list.

Quite nice pub, very crowded on an early Friday evening. Decent tapselection with a few nice surprises. Never checked the bottle list. Not the cheapest place in Stockholm.
