Nondescript strip mall brewery but the service and beer were very good. 13 taps, the few I tried were very good, I even took some home. Definitely worth a visit in Denver, this place had better beer than most.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. I'd had the snowed in before and was not particularly impressed. They had coconut and pumpkin variants and the coconut was delicious (they tried to make sure not to undershoot the required amount of coconut). Also had an interesting banana-y (I think) barleywine and a solid ESB. Like a mix of English styles and oatmeal stouts (which given Sam Smith is kind of an English style). Won't blow you away but I would absolutely go back here (and probably will). This was COVID times so a few lines were empty and I made sure to sit outside.

Met up with Mike here after flying in. Smallish place in a strip, parking out front. Not too busy on a Monday evening. Some outside seating when the weather accommodates. Small bar with about 6 seats; mostly a place to order. Flights available, and all beers can be ordered as individual small pours. Some cans and bottles to go. Beer quality solid. I liked one of their BA pastry stouts quite a bit.

Tasting room ... nice rustic kind of taproom with a nice copper topped bar and view of the equipment ..... brewer was miserable and his boss seemed like a bitch too .... beer was overcarbonated .... thankfully a nice bartender showed up .... food trucks come outside .... better options out there I’m sure

Visited on Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. Not crowded at all, and got excellent service from a very friendly bartender, that was talkative but not at all overbearing. The beers were pretty middle of the road--nothing bad, but nothing mind blowing either. This is fine for me, especially of things are reasonably priced, which this place is. Solid place to visit.

In a strip mall style complex. Some outdoor seating, but it’s limited. They seem to have some unique events. The most current example being the coffee cask day. Decent, but nondescript ambiance. Service is patient, helpful, and friendly. Beers are not really good, by and large.

Strip mall brewery, with a semi-inviting interior and friendly service. High quality offerings, with some barrel aged and cask taps, as well. Reasonable prices and usually a few different lagers (usually high quality) available. I don’t visit often due to how far away it is from my home, but I’m always thoroughly happy when I do.

[Update 3 - over the past year or so, this brewery has really shifted it’s focus - they spend an awful lot of time and energy cranking out one-off casks of their beers with crazy adjuncts added to them - additionally, an increasing number of their regular output beers fall into the strong and/or barrel-aged category - this is fine, but it is also what 100 other Colorado breweries are doing - what made me fall in love with them in the first place was the fact that they did NOT do this kind of stuff - that I could go here and be reasonably assured that there would be several well-made lagers and a stellar Hefeweizen on tap - they still make these kinds of beers, but not nearly as often - a lot more porters, stouts and IPAs round out the lineup in addition to the high gravity stuff - again, more like every other brewery in Colorado - the people are still great and the spot is a very comfortable hang out, but the brewing has just kind of disappointed me the past year or so - I just feel like they have strayed from their original vision and given in to trendy shit] [Update 2 - love this place and, more importantly, the people running it - new beer fairly often - never have to worry about poor quality - awesome local hang out Update - they have grown pretty fast here - service is great and they are doing a good job providing a variety of different brews - they seem to run out of stuff quite a bit - a great little spot albeit a bit off the beaten path in town] Disclaimer: my rating is slightly higher than I would rate this place under normal circumstances - I am giving them a little slack because they just opened today - small but homey tasting room on the outskirts of Denver - dark hardwood floors and tables, a few sofas - a few televisions, but the volume was at a reasonable level - cozy - staff was moving slowly, but they were friendly and attentive (I assume they will work out the kinks of this) - beer list had eight beers, but some were not ready yet (again, they just opened, so my selection rating is for the list) - a nice range of styles, shying away from the ho-hum standards like ipas, porters, etc. - focus seems to be German styles (Helles, alt, Roggenbier) with a saison thrown in for good measure (any brewery with a saison on year round is okay in my book) - most beers need a little work, but all display a great deal of potential - prices are fairly standard, 4 dollar pints, 10 dollar growlers - in brief, a promising new start up brewery - a little green on both the brewing and business sides, but they seem like they have the potential to become much better with time.

Visited late afternoon on a Thursday. Located in a light industrial business park near Parker and Mississippi. Located next door to the storage center my friend stored all of his crap 15 years ago. Clean and spacious tasting room, tables and an L shaped bar. Good crowd of friendly regulars on hand. Service was prompt and helpful. 7-8 beers on, bottles of Mexican stout and growlers to go. The two beers I had were clean and well made. Weird location, but certainly worth the trip if you are local.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.
