84 Visited 7-15. Super busy in this part of town, so be prepared. Metered parking and I parked down the street a bit since it looked crowded closer to the place. Really big and roomy inside with tons of seating in both areas. Service was excellent, but this could be because it was pretty dead in there since we got there right at open for lunch. Hostess and waitress were great. Lots of beer to choose from as well as food. I went with Alchemist can and a Lawson’s Super Session draft. Food was excellent and I got the swordfish tacos. Value was solid, but food price was a bit high. Overall very nice restaurant that I would surely visit again if I make it back that way. |
80 Quaint corner location downtown Barre. Restaurant feel with a smattering of tables throughout. Bar is small but the beer selection is very good. Wines, liquor, and a nice selection of foods. Family friendly. Staff was attentive and helpful. Just not cozy. |
80 Atmospherically it’s quite obvious that the place is a new build. It’s clean and inviting, but lacks a certain warmth. The service was excellent. The list here shows good taste even though they haven’t been yet able to attain hill farmstead or lawson’s. A couple easily fixable execution issues with the food made the meal less than memorable, but I’ll certainly come back; the integrity of what they’re trying to do is obvious. |
88 Have been here a couple of times and enjoyed it immensely! Excellent selection of beer and great food (loved the swordfish fish tacos). New and still very busy... show up early or you wait for a while. Reasonably priced food and beer. Only a few miles from my house, so I will visit often! |
