Fine spot in the airport, Terminal B pre-security. Sort of out in the open. Selection is better than you'd expect, six DuClaw taps with some decently limited stuff like Sour Me Unicorn Farts (what?!?). Food is OK. They have crab at least. Service was pretty good when I went.

Decent for an airport brewpub, all things considered. Especially compared to the Good Island one in Chicago on my way back from this trip. You get 7 or 8 beer flight for $11 - pretty cheap for an airport. And some of the beers were stuff I hadn’t seen before around D.C. Food kind of sucks though - the Cuban sandwich I had was dry and a little drab.

Pretty much nothing can be said about this place that can’t be said about any other airport bar/brewpub - cramped, loud space - crappy atmosphere - limited selection (7 standard DuClaw brews) - horrid prices (8 dollar pints) - meh service that doesn’t know jack about what they are serving - yes, it’s outside security, but it isn’t like BWI is all that busy a airport, so if you have time to kill (and I can’t imagine any other reasonwhy you would be in an airport bar), then that shouldn’t be a big deal - hell, having a beer beforehand might make your trip through security more bearable - so yeah, it’s pretty lame - but it’s craft beer - at the airport - better than the days where there wasn’t any craft beer at th airport, I guess.

Ambiance: Typical airport bar that seats a lot of people in a smallish space, several TVs around the spot but weird that it was outside security. Service: Somewhat decent but typical of a place where it seems fast paced Selection: 7 Du Claw beers on tap with 3 macros. The Du Claw beers were a typical array of IPA, DIPA, Porter, Pale, Amber, Blonde and Wheat...flagship du claw beers. Food: Decent enough, had crab cake sandwich with side salad. Value: Overpriced like most airports, beers were almost $10 each for 22oz pours, not horrible by any means Overall, other than it being outside of security, I really don’t have any complaints...would rather have the hassle of going through security for a good beer than to drink a shit beer inside.

Not bad for an airport, but of course pricier. Decent food and 2 rotating taps along with their regulars. Quesadillas were good, though I was not a fan of Sweet Baby Jesus. Stop in when you are there if you have time before heading through security.

Just as others have mentioned, it’s exactly what you would expect from an airport bar in terms of atmosphere and service. Oddly it’s outside of security, so you have account for the time to go through security. Only 6 of the basic Duclaw beers on tap with a few other generic macros, though the 6 may be ticks if you’re not a local. Food was actually pretty good and fairly priced for an airport spot.

if you find yourself in the airport, but not through checkout, this place will provide beers. 6 duclaw beers on tap - a porter, apa, IIPA, blone ale, etc.

Didn’t see the point of this place. It is Outside security so who in the world is going to relax out here without having gone through the TSA nightmare of security here? Tap list is inferior to their other locations, still is okay if you are wanting to tick stuff and not have to pay $12 a sixer for their regular stuff. Nothing on tap I’ve haven’t seen in their other locations. Plus macro taps. A scroll past type of place- like DuClaw beers in general. Service was slow, ambiance is awkward out in the open in the middle of the check-in terminal area.

Eh, it is what it is, an airport bar. They had 6 or 7 of the DuClaw brews alongside the BMC shit for the frat boys.
